alright. so we had water training today. the guys took T1 first while the girls took k2 tiger- sihong and i, front and back. and as expected, the pairings experienced changes.
first 8km was good. we did "rock" abit but we didn't capsize. perhaps because sihong isn't that used to k2 bah. or that i wasn't used to pairing with her. LOL. so we came up of the waters, went over to the lagoon and did some practising in "getting in and out of the boats" with a little technique. then hong and i were assigned to k2 raptor. and god knows, i expected that we did capsize alot of times, and we did. 8km, we were told to complete. but we only did less than 4km due to all the capsizing, then we paddled over to the pontoon where rescuing was easier, in case we capsize somewhere along the 1km mark and no one is there to help, as everybody paddles towards the lagoon.
training ended at arnd 1.30pm and the seniors were doing their "stunts" on the boats, like standing up and sitting down, etc. LOL. it was the first water training that was so fun. no pull ups today, so we were all feeling rather elated. :D
went to j8 for mac lunch. filling tummy --> home.
maybe our pairings will continue to change. i guess we all just have to feel easy in the boat, like no other boats, be it tiger or raptor, fat boat ass or slim. feeling easy in the boat, applying pressure on the foot rest as you take the stroke and dare to go out to paddle will then be the most efficient way to master the boat. then we'll soon be lovers with the boats. HAHA. its a learning journey. it won't be easy, but it isn't going to be tough either. (: if jo and i can, so can we, and all of us.
right. we'll see how the pairing goes.
