yesterday was the day of the virgin race for many of us.
got to seletar by 7am. but my race was at 2.45pm. panicked, saw teammates completing their races and cheered. visualized. finally, it was our turn. the race was over in a snap of the fingers. and we came in 4th. it was so close, so close to the "cookie". but its alright.
this is just the very beginning.
and this sport is getting more and more interesting.
congrats on the seniors winning, plus shimin and jo's T2's bronze.
5 gold, 1 sliver, 2 bronze.
up coming event, canoeing marathon 2008.
we've made a deal and we'll be training hard for it.
we will fight for our first cookie.
training will resume next thursday.
double pairings have a possibility of experiencing a change.
"team republic" windbreaker coming on the way for us.

thoughts of the race still runs through my mind.
many "what ifs".
but it doesn't matter because dwelling on the past won't help.
its only our virgin race. and no one starts out perfect.
under the guidiance of coach and kengwi, we'll be brought to greater heights. all the trainings will be worth it. who cares abt thick arms then, when u can bring home medals?!
HAHA.
