we saw a big group of team singapore sportsmen at rp last friday due to the team singapore flag day, or sth similar to that. left eventually and slacked at cwp mac. we got bored so we started writing out names with both our hands.

home after dinner.

the next day, training day.

coach was at his own wedding dinner. kengwi couldn't come cos he's being the groom's maid. hence, marcus was here, coach's student, who got tekaned by him since 13 and now, in ns. so we did warm up, a couple of 500m sprint sets, plus a number of rolling starts. did visalisation, followed by part 2 of the training, then cool down, then to the pull up bars.

after our wash up, while we're waiting for the bus to bishan, we borrowed bob's okley.

had training on sunday as well, had work following that.

so for the past 2 days, adeline sihong and i were at suntec for the standard chartered volunteer, packing crew.

for the event bags.

okay. and so as you can see, we weren't packing at the convention halls. or rather, behind the convention halls where loading and unloading was easier and also, where it got rather hot initially. but as we got less kan jiong with the work, it felt rather cool. that was by today. more are expected to be done by tml. but we are alrdy done with our 2 days of volunteery. so BYE BYE!

backview of the blue lumps. that was the gym bags, for the runners. and in each gym bag, was a event bag with brochers, pasta, berroca, deep heat, etc. we wanted at least a event bag. but to no avail. TSK!

TA-DA!! she was the lady whom none of us in our team of 7 bothered to bother with. haha. cos she talks as though she knows everything. nvm about that, cos the main point wasn't that. at dinner, which was provided yesterday, she said that the bottle of chilli provided wasn't hot enough, in the end, she took the bottle of chilli home. then she intend to ka-pok the pen that we had to share arnd when filling up the volunteers' forms. no offence, but she really is the typical ones. haha.

there were still alot alot of photos. but i have no idea where did the others in my phone go. nvm about them. shall just get them up soon. so we left after collecting our allowance and shirt. considering our workload, it was quite easy and worth it la. further more, we were provided with meals. went back to super heroes at suntec and bought a flash-tee. ade bought 2. they were having a 70% sales. so we went to bugis after that for hong's dorothy perkins top and went to army market for the china bag, which was selling at only $4.50.

the lanes and sunset that we've been using and seeing for the past 6 months. ):

oh. anw, i saw new bouys being set up at seletar alrdy. at least more bouys, like 4 to 5bouys for the whole of 500m course, better than the initial 2 buoys or so per lanes? this coming weekend will be the combined of 3 events- dragonboat PA race, kayaks, then to our polites. sighs. i'm getting butterflies alrdy.
