3 days of work so far at minitoons has been alright. the first 2 days were at kovan heartland mall. the people there were great and easy to be with. i guess the working environment where customer service is important is always like that bahs. but i kind of hated taking train. its like from sembawang to dobby ghuat, then to kovan. woah. the train jorney can really make me dizzy and feel like vomiting man. i woke up at 6 yesterday morning to meet up 2 other trainees to go for the orientation at the headquarters. this train journey was even worst. before the train was even at braddell, i already was feeling "train sick" and i felt my cold sweat coming out. the headquarters is lyk at ubi crest so i have to take to city hall and then go to eunos. woah. super far. felt like just throwing up there. *wuuu-ehhh* we were given our uniforms and a workbook to complete. funny right? still got workbook de. anw, the t-shirts cost $7.50 each and we have to return them if we are not working anymore. the t-shirs we got were only available in 2 sizes- female small and male medium. i tried on the male one but it was super big, like pajamas and so i took the female one. woah. i dun like to wear small sized shirts lah.. i prefered my large lycra polo tees..
and now im having trian phobia. kind of lah. and im so afraid that my dizzy-ness will work up whenever im on the train. i was told to go to mini-mix to learn cashier-ing and be in-charge of the mini mix. it was not easy cos im a noob for cashier-ing but it was okay lah. heeren was really kind of isolated so i was quite free and bored there. haha. and jennifer remembered me. she was the one whom gave sh and i the resume forms at minitoons and attended to us at minibits. fortunately she submitted the forms early cos according to her, there were like many ppl coming for the interview and she rejected them. there are mini bits, mini toons and mini mix there and there's only 4 persons in total in-charge of looking after the shops. so like 1 at mini mix, 1 at mini bits and 2 at minitoons bah. i went for toriQ 2 times yesterday for my lunch and break. haha. actually i just wanted to disiao them only. but i didnt go back there again after my work. i bought a curry puff and went to look for eve, thenfor ahma but we couldnt find her so eve and i went to centrepoint to look for anet then we waited for ahma at the somerset station. everytime like that.. wait for her then she fa pi qi and we have to follow her.. haha. ok la. kidding but really lorh. that was what happened ytd. haha. so anw, im working at heeren on wednesday, thursday and sunday, and at heartland mall on friday. so, come and find me lahh.. im so bored sia. then i happened to see kahwee, his mom and his bro at mini mix ytd. hahas
okay, done with all my complaining liao.
it is really tough to choose between work and hpt training camp. when the person called to tell me ive got the job, i did ask if i can dont go on 20 to 24. cos u see. the day before the camp will be busy and the day after the camp will be tiring. make sense right. and the person told me its their peak period and i have a feeling i wont get employed if i really cant make it for work during that period of time. it was a struggle and eventually, i chosed work when i got the msg from clarinda yesterday night. why does the camp has to be from 21 to 23? its such a stupid date lah. god. hpt has always been my piority and now ive chosen work. i didnt want it to turn out like that.. this period of time before the results, was meant to work and earn like crazy initially. if only the camp has been brought forward or pushed backward...
