but this blog will be kept. cos it consist of my very first super duper KORK! entry. you know? those times when you wld just include in every single detail e.g.

i woke up in the morning, kicked my bedsheets aside, stepped out of my bed, walked to the toilet, held my toothbrush, squeezed my toothpaste but nothing came out cos the cap wasn't remove, etc. HHAHA! stuffs like that luh. i'm like stating the oblivious. entries which includes even the slightess things that happened in school,with friends, etc. hence, it shall be kept. and i think blogger looks more colourful leh. plus, having to comment in LJ seems much troublesome than blogger. kays.

adeline, i didn't give flight! i had migrane again this morning. was too afraid to fall sick so i stayed at home. i can't afford to. so does everyone in the team.

the 6km route went through my mind. someone once told me this- "if you can't acheive a big goal at once, break it down into small goals and by the end of it, you wld have acheive something big.". the route may seem long, but think of all the road junctions, traffic lights whereby you have to stop, and then continue. by finishing each part of the route, you've eventually finish the entire 6km. this applies to life. but do many out there actually consider this as an aid to help them to acheive success?

hadn't we been training like this to eventually acheive the aim we have in this sport? many races coming up in these few months. we can all name a few out.

practically a race per month, or so they say. lets all train hard to fail all other factors, but not ourselves. don't we all wish to win and get medals? do we wish for it to happen because we don't train enough for it? make it happen. let's do it!

team dinner (FINALLY!!) on this coming saturday, shift has been cancelled.

purposely lazed in bed and took my own time this morning, but ended up taking cab down. cos of joanne luh.

(yesterday)
jo: fishy, so are you going for training tml?
me: uh. yah.
jo: confirm ah! hanting, you all heard that ah! don't you u give air tickets tml horh!"

and no matter what, i wouldn't want to end up with them saying that i gave flight. hence, i went. training was over in like 1.5hrs, 10.30am. damn shiok luh. by the time we lock up our shed, nyp dragonboaters just started rowing. somewhat, the feeling that your training had alrdy ended when others just started, feels just shiok.

was on k2 tiger with yuxin and i admit, that the coordination sucks. it feels wierd luh. most probably due to her inconsistency in strokes and the strength used, plus her punching. but the last 3 sets were much better, especially the last set, cos i've found the "right way" to remind her. she needs alot of pushing though. the back paddler did do her job kay! (hong! k2 stingray again! :D)

walked arnd; fareast; adidas jacket at far east; deeper; heeren.

perhaps i can request for john to put me back at 4skn. the tiney weeny bit of commission doesn't attract me at all, despite whatever purpose he has in mind. i did rather be in 4skn where i enjoy getting busy and all. shall talk to him real soon.

and so, i was cheated on friday. thought i was scheduled for morning shift till 9 and i was damn happy. i even left home early to get mac breakie luh.

got to the shop and was suprised to see it open so early, since 10.30 or so.
jon ma: eh fishy, you're opening the shop today meh?
me: uh, yeah.
jon giving the puzzled look and checked the schedule.
jon: but no leh, the schedule states 2 to closing.
me: HUH?! really meh? woah lao.
stared hard at the schedule and realised that it had been changed into a new format. takes out the old schedule and points to it.
me: neh! it states opening till 9. woahh laoo.. cheat my feelings.
and off i walked, to the end of the shop to finish my breakfast.

well, you could have said that its the staff's responsibility to check the schedule and i agree with it but how the hell am i suppose to know that my shift has been changed? the last time i checked it was before we left for the company dinner, on tuesday. so i guess i can only say that i don't check it frequent-frequently enough. i don't mind working till closing, but at least inform me can. tsk. i was left wondering between heeren and cine for 3 god damn hours. i offered to get food though. :D

i'll be permanently be working at adorn- some kind of john ong's plan luh. but i don't care much. just that it does get kind of cold there.

training today was like "URGhhh..". the fart-leg with 4 on, 2 off. then it was 6 X 500m. at our 6th set, we're all saying "come on, last set! last set!". i gave my all at my last set and was feeling so relieved but coach said,"Go for one last set..". kind of chui. PT was worst- did our usual circuit on sats. on my 8set onwards, i practically had tears in my eyes when i was doing it. its very unbearable, especially when you're pushing urself yet it just felt so hard, till an extend when you can't control your breathing and it ends up going too heavy and inconsistent that heavy breathing noises start to be heard from yourself. some what similar to your windpipe being narrowed.

lunch was subway at j8 and i brought a 6inch to work. it been quite some time since we last lunched at j8, esp the usual desserts after lunch. geez. tempting.

training, lunch, walk, work, home, wash wet gear, sleep.

4 X 800m sprint sets; gym; pull ups; abs, tiger torso plus "yoga"
had lunch and for no reason why, i ordered 5 side dish for my rice, when i wasn't even that hungry. the steamed egg tasted weird. talked alot about the unglam stuff that some of us did during training, like bob farting when doing pull-ups, ben farted when doing abs, etc. hilarious. but oh wells, farting is only a natural thing, only that it comes out at the wrong time. HHAHA! and i reminded adeline of the time when i squeaked a tiny-weeny fart into her ear when i was doing pull-ups. no one else heard it except us cos she was assisting me. so she was down on her luck huh? but that set us laughing for nuts. see?! told you it was only a natural thing to fart. i can't force it up my oesophagus and out from my mouth when its at my asshole right? damn unglam. but who looks glamourous during training? :D
was at the library to fix hong's outlook and we mentioned abit of the canoe camp and of course, our SLA fiesta for the newbies. home.
morning shift till 9pm tml. :D i hardly have shifts that allows me to leave before the shop does settlement. so, that excites me a little.

omg omg! i just checked my this sem's gpa.

G106, enterprise : B+
A112, computing and mathematics : B+
A102, science : B+
G104, Contemporary Issues in Culture and Aesthetics : B+
G102, cognitive : A

okay! :D damn high. 3.5 for each of the B+ plus a 4 for the A, and that gives me 3.6 for this sem! man, i'm so proud of myself! but i got 3.3 for last semester. that left me with a 3.45 for my year one. tsk. i guess scoring well in UTs really helped alot. and it was my UT4 that pulled up my grades.

alrighty! enough of all those. shall mention alittle about ytd's company dinner. was supposed to close off at 6.30 but there were customers so it dragged on till 7? walked to the restaurant at royal plaza with colleagues and boss where we met up the others later. john ong gave alittle of his big-boss-speech and his expectations before we started our buffet.

john: so fishy, you're quite well connected here. who do you think is the employee of the year?
me: aiyer. must be heri liao lah..

and damn it! he was he employee of the year and he walked off with a iTouch. should have said my name instead. hahahha. neh mind. next year, i can wait. geez.

the food there was great! had 4 servings before calling it a deal. oh oh oh. the desserts were superb man! fondue, cakes, everything! yummy! i took a serving of sheperd's pie without knowing it was mutton. to think that i even ask the person,"is it beef?". LOL. what to expect? its called sheperd's pie. so shouldn't i link it to sheeps? oh nvm. cos i got my colleague to settle it for me. i can't take mutton. [= called for beer and fruit juices which requires extra charges but its all going under our boss's name. :D:D:D

then comes the lucky draw that we're all looking forward to. no prizes, but all cash! :D the draw was spilt into 2 grps - A & B. grp A for those who have worked above 6 months (ME ME ME!!) and grp B, for those below. i got the 3rd prize from grp A and i got an extra 100bucks to spend. wahahaha. headed off to Kpool at cine with heeren staff. but duncan, val and i didn't play cos we're damn noob. adrian's red boxers with white skulls on it is hilarious. daph went off early. left at arnd 12. cab home and as it was midnight, the extra charges were 50%. kind of complained to the driver abit. and he sent me home like real fast. $24 in all, cos i paid by nets.

dragged my ass up from bed at 12 plus after my mum's nagging and cabbed with her to SIM for my brother's registration. SIM is a pretty school. i didn't know that SIM provides part time courses locally and full time ones, overseas, cos i made a mistake when pressing for the queue number. headed to bugis temple with my mum after that. i couldn't exactly rmb when was the last time i was there but it was good to have the familiar feeling back again when u enter the temple. lunch was on me! first time kay! guess i can treat my mum more often if she brings me out again. or the other way round. :D

alrights! land training tml- sprint sets. shall be bringing extra coins for the 100plus after the running. teehees.

i guess i won't be able to make it for the 2904's bday celeb again this time, which falls on this friday, cheyenne and phebe's! but i'll sure pop by if u girls are still tgt after my shift. (:

the very first task of being the logistics is to get the boats mended. billy took quite some time to get to seletar and as hanting has mentioned, he told us grandfather stories. oh well. its alright. mock race results with my k1 coming in 3rd and my k2 with hong, 2nd. alot more to work on though. tsk.

training today wasn't as easy as being on k2, but still managed to pull through it. being on singles can be both a joyous and a demoralising thing. capsized twice and the first time was b'cos i was trying to balance myself with one blade on the water and the other hand reaching for my bottle in my boat. tsk tsk.

had dinner and caught "jumper" with derrick. [= and got a pair of converse.
the new narnias movie will be up soon and it seems quite appealing.
trip to kukup with team mates after mr500, plus overseas training. heard that it will be in KL. somewhere further up luh. thailand will be a good place. HAHAH.

shall finish "panic" soon and get "sandra's keys".

tsk. like what's wrong with me. seriously, i don't like to run. but ever since i'm in this sport, i've got to run to improve myself. and perhaps it's this idea that encouraged me to oversleep this morning. and as expected, land training strength wasn't as much as usual cos those lovey dovey team mates would go park-tor-ing.

i've got to run, to built my stamina, to burn fats, to paddle better. tsk.

training always make me feel good. so just don't think abt the running cos all in all, i'd be one happy person after training. (:

compulsory water training this saturday cos the current KAHs will be stepping down with the new names to be announced.

i was reading "panic" the whole afternoon, till i doze off and went into a nap.
shift from 2 to closing tml. hopefully i'll be released earlier, like what john had promised.
